Members of the October 15th solidarity crew invite you to join on a Waitangi Day procession from Waitangi Park to the Mount Cook Prison Barracks to commemorate victims of Crown violence and acknowledge the continued colonisation of Aotearoa New Zealand. We will also be drawing attention to the continued prosecution of the ‘Urewera 16’ who still face a political trial on charges under the Arms Act. We will be leaving the south west corner of Waitangi Park at 4pm on 6 February. We invite you to bring tino rangatiratanga flags or other appropriate banners and placards. Mittwoch Februar 13, 2008

October 15th solidarity – Poneke – campaign meeting Kia ora You are invited to a campaign strategy and planning meeting on Tuesday evening, February 19th at 7pm at Thistle Hall, top of Cuba Street in Wellington. The meeting will continue the work from last week on a strategy for the campaign. We hope to establish a clear campaign purpose and goals, and some strategies and tactics for use. STOP THE RAIDS! Otautahi / Christchurch Protest - Saturday 23rd February, 12 noon, meet in Cathedral Square. This week the state rolled out more raids targetting tino rangatiratanga and te mana motuhake o Tuhoe activists. Join us on the street in opposing this ongoing persecution from the police, to say NO to more raids, to demand the charges for the Urewera 19 are dropped, and to stand in solidarity with the people of Tuhoe.
