Benefit For Maori And Anarchists Of New Zealand

On 15th October 2007, over 300 police arrested 17 indigenous, anarchist, environmental and anti-war activists across Aotearoa (New Zealand).

The police wanted to charge 12 activists under the Terrorism Suppression Act for alleged participation in a terrorist organisation. However, these charges won't be laid. After 4 weeks in jail, everyone was released. A trial will still take place though for alleged possession of weapons.

An afternoon at the Adelaide, featuring Emma Paki, The Klezmer Rebs and more. The money raised from this gig will go to support those affected by the raids, and to build the resistance to the police's actions.

Urewera 17 Community Dinner

On Saturday 15 December, we will be hosting a community dinner in support of the Urewera 17 at St John's Church, corner of Willis and Dixon Streets (Wellington) starting at 7pm. There will be amazing vegan-friendly food, speakers and films. The cost is $8 unwaged and $12 waged, tickets available on the door.

All proceeds will go to support the arrestees.
