The Labour Party is hosting its election year conference in Wellington on April 11-13. Come help us organise against the racist brutality of this government.

All funds raised will go towards supporting those arrested in the raids and their whanau during court hearings.

Protest: Saturday 12 April, midday, meet at Te Aro Park (between Ghuznee St and Manners St)

The protest will start at Te Aro Park (also known as Pigeon Park) and move to the Labour Party Congress (held at the Town Hall). Everyone who opposed the raids is invited to come and bring banners, placards and noise-makers. The government has attacked, October 15 Solidarity Wellington will not allow the government that attacked us to congratulate itself in peace.

Continue work on campaign aim, strategy and tactics. Meeting at Thistle Hall at the top of Cuba Street.

The defendants have been excused from the next ‘call-over’ on 18 April when several further applications will be lodged by counsel for the defence.

Friday 18 April - Solidarity action - 5pm meet at the Cenotaph, Lambton Quay at Bowen Street, Wellington. Lawyers of the accused are appearing in Auckland on this day in order to file several legal motions. Please get out on the streets and help spread the word about the issues. We will have banners, leaflets, megaphone etc

The October 15th Solidarity crew is producing a paper version of the newsletter with information about the case and the surrounding issues. We are aiming to produce this on a monthly basis. The next issue will be for May. We are keen to have any analysis about the Labour Party conference or other relevant political issues, legal updates about the case, Tino Rangatiratanga or solidarity actions and campaigns elsewhere.
