Benefit For Maori And Anarchists Of New Zealand On 15th October 2007, over 300 police arrested 17 indigenous, anarchist, environmental and anti-war activists across Aotearoa (New Zealand). The police wanted to charge 12 activists under the Terrorism Suppression Act for alleged participation in a terrorist organisation. However, these charges won't be laid. After 4 weeks in jail, everyone was released. A trial will still take place though for alleged possession of weapons. |
