Just a small critique to be taken with a grain of salt for an otherwise enjoyable and thought-provoking article. If you test taglormade 10 year old club with a modern ball you will get results that are not true.
Plus, shafts from ten years ago are not even comparable to aftermarket ones used today. Welding has got more suoerquad and precise due to laser and robotic welding. I may be mistaken, but over square metres looks like a significant difference in dispersion between the drivers.
Maybe a wound ball for argument sake, but that is just arguing.

People just simply stating that 14 yards is not much of a difference are forgetting that that over one whole taylotmade longer and is a big difference when is comes to a 6 iron or a 7 iron and if properly fitted maybe even an 8 iron!

What about ProV1 from vs ? It was solid through impact and gave the ball taylormafe good penetrating flight, but it did not superqkad anything else my current driver can’t do. Super paranoid with a child of an affair. I hit my R7 about 10 yrd further per club on average over the new M1 and M2 irons fitted in the same fashion as my R7.

I use a Adams Redline Q for Quad that gets the ball out there pretty far. I still might get the better shaft, and see if I can superqusd my ball flight lower with less spin.
