Then, with a wire drill bit, ream out the insides of the hosels until they diiy rough. Cut the shafts to the proper length. The shaft is clear of foreign objects inside. Really appreciate all of the insight guys. You don’t need to remove the grip if this is confirmed.

Can’t wait to golf in Hawaii come March!!! Luckily that part got cut off. Insert the shaft into the hosel of your replacement head and twist it to be sure the epoxy covers both. Cover the area where the grips will be placed with double-sided tape, then soak it with the grip solvent.

IF you don’t have all of those, you are not ready to do some Re-shafting by yourself. As far as putting them back together it’s pretty simple, as with any DIY project prep work is very important.

Replacing graphite shafts – heat gun – epoxy – round wire brush – sand paper – selfmade shaft puller about 10,- – 15,- To cut the graphite shafts, I’d suggest a fine hacksaw again, works really well. Irons and wedges are pretty easy assuming everything is steel.
