Check with the card reader’s website or send the manufacturer an email. Im well over 70, and delighted I can still remember how to use a camera and a computer I have used this card reader many times since i received it more a month or so ago, A pleaure for me to use. It dynsx work every time. Reder am giving up and buying something cheaper and better. None of the card readers I have 3 of them show up in Finder when connected to any of my usb ports but they all work on my Windows PC usb ports.
Both readers and all cards are detected with no problem in XP.
Went to the Dynex website and downloaded the drivers and tried to follow the instructions for manually installing from Dynex manual. The right window will memoy a tree outline of all USB devices. Maybe they mis-adververtised the product working with MACs?

The package says it’s compatible with all Mac OS My problem is that in OS-X neither of my 2 usb compact flash card readers is recognised consistently. It’s something of a nuisance, because I’m going to be rearer the Macbook to back up photos on a holiday soon and had planned on deleting the XP partition to free up hard drive space.
